This course is mandatory for persons carrying out animal experiments and is performed in strong accordance to the recommendations of the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA category B course) and the Society of Laboratory Animal Science (GV-SOLAS). The course consists of lectures and practical exercises.

Introduction to basic techniques in molecular biology (PCR, epigenetics methods, in situ hybridization etc.). It is the aim of this course to give a practically orientated insight to molecular techniques and their applications in neuroscience. Detailed descriptions and protocols will be handed out.
You have to choose one of the labs for the practical part.
