Farm for Education and Research in Ruthe is difficult to reach by public transport. We therefore recommend that you travel by car. Ruthe is about three kilometers from the Sarstedt train station. Leave the A7 at the Laatzen/Sarstedt exit and take the B443 towards Pattensen/Sarstedt. At the Hildesheim/Sarstedt slip road, change to the B6 in the direction of Hildesheim. Leave the B6 at the first exit Sarstedt into Oesselser Straße. At the end of Oesseler Straße turn left into Osterstraße and immediately take the next turn right into Thorstraße. At the end turn left into Hildesheimer Straße. Continue on Heiseder Straße, turn right onto Marienburger Straße. Follow the signs to the Farm for Education and Research in Ruthe. It is located on the corner of Ruther Straße/Schäferberg.

from the South
If you are coming on the A7 from Göttingen/Kassel, take the Hildesheim exit in the direction of Elze/Sarstedt. Follow the B6 in the direction of Hannover. Take the second exit in the direction of Sarstedt. Turn right into Helperder Straße towards Heisede and immediately right again into Heiseder Straße. Turn left into Marienburger Straße. Follow the signs to the Farm for Education and Research in Ruthe. It is located on the corner of Ruther Straße/Schäferberg.

Coming from Vechta on the L843, take the first major right onto the K303 towards Bakum. In Bakum turn left at the T-junction. After about 300 meters at the "turning right of way" turn right straight into Büscheler Straße. The Epidemiology Field Office is located on the left after about 600 meters.
