Scholarships from the Brigitte and Prof. Dr Reiner Müller-Peddinghaus Stiftung

The Brigitte and Prof. Dr Reiner Müller-Peddinghaus Stiftung is currently (as of 2024) awarding three research fellowships at the Institute of Pathology, each with a monthly grant of 1,700 euros:

The supervisor in each case is Professor Dr Dr h.c. Wolfgang Baumgärtner, PhD, former Director of the Institute of Pathology.
Applications for these must be submitted to the Brigitte and Prof. Dr Reiner Müller-Peddinghaus Stiftung via the supervisor from TiHo institutes engaged in basic research. 

TiHo Young Researcher Support (TYReS): Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover

Through the TiHo Young Researcher Support (TYReS) programme, the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) has, since 2026, been supporting particularly talented early-career researchers in carrying out a doctoral or PhD project at TiHo. The aim of the programme is to enable excellent scientific training and to support innovative research projects at an early stage. Each year, TiHo awards three scholarships for a maximum of three years. 

Initially, the Society of Friends, Gesellschaft der Freunde der TiHo, is funding one scholarship and the Joachim und Irene Hahn Stiftung is funding two.
