EndNote enables its users to manage bibliographic data as well as full text documents effectively. It is a useful tool to add citations to a text document which suit the formal requirements of a research article or a PhD thesis. The features of EndNote will be explored by means of various examples.

The processes of collecting, organising, analysing and communicating data are essential elements of conducting research. If research data is not systematically processed, a subsequent data loss is inevitable. The loss of data results in fragmented data sets which prevents further reuse and therefore is in contradiction to the rules of good scientific practice.
This seminar focuses on improving knowledge, awareness and skills in research data management to establish sustainable data environments. Data handling strategies and best practices will also be discussed in the context of Open Science.
