DBIS - Database Information System
The Database Information System (DBIS) is a cooperative service for the use of scientific databases and supports you in finding the right databases for your research needs. DBIS lists all important information on databases, enables a quick and well-founded selection and allows individual views to be flexibly adapted. In addition to freely available database offers, all of our local database licenses, including access modalities, are listed and searchable here.
Databases by subject
As of October 15, 2024, DBIS has also been shining in a new design: With the latest version, the layout and user interface have been completely revised to enable a more modern and intuitive use.

VetSearch
Our discovery system allows parallel literature searches in the library's holdings, in selected specialist databases and in free internet sources and is therefore well suited for a thematic search entry (in addition to individual publications, content - such as articles - can also be searched). Search results can be subsequently restricted, combined, saved and exported. Each result leads to the catalog, the full text, the location or shows an ordering option.
The eBooks and eJournals tab on the left within the suggested search tools can also be used to search our online holdings only. The following button links directly to the corresponding search interface:
