In an emergency, e.g.
- severe trauma,
- apathy,
- Inability to sit on the perch,
- Blood in faeces or uric acid,
- Accident,
- haemorrhages,
- poisoning,
- cramps,
- weakness,
- shortness of breath,
- circulatory collapse,
- pain conditions,
- central nervous symptoms,
- sudden inability to fly,
- problems with egg laying,
- prolapse of the cloaca,
swift action can save your pet's life.
If your pet's condition allows it, you should first call +49 511 953 6800 during clinic opening hours (08:00 - 17:00) for information.
In emergencies outside opening hours, please present your pet directly to the clinic's emergency service.
The clinic's emergency service bell is located at the right-hand entrance.
Please note that if you present your pet to the emergency service (i.e. without a prior appointment or regular appointment), double the fee will be charged. On all public holidays, at weekends and during the night service during the week (17:00 - 08:00) there is an additional one-off emergency service fee of €58 incl. VAT.
The best way to transport a seriously ill bird is in a small, dark transport box, which should be temperature-controlled and lined with clean paper or a towel.
