TiHo aims to contribute to increasing the proportion of female professors and supports scientists employed at TiHo in the final phase of their habilitation or equivalent qualification phase through the Ursula-Weigt Program. The Ursula-Weigt Program is a personnel funding initiative designed to improve the completion conditions by freeing recipients from routine tasks.
Up to two scientists can be supported annually. Compensation funds can be applied for to cover half of a substitute position to take over routine tasks for a period of six months, with the option of extension up to a maximum of 12 months.
