Career development for women in the postdoctoral phase
The Foundation of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover has established an internal funding pool of €139,000 per year, through which measures to realize gender equality in accordance with Section 3 (3) NHG can be financially supported upon request.
These include, for example:
Promotion of the qualification of women through
- Advanced and further training opportunities
- Habilitation support (Ursula-Weigt Program)
- Networking trips for female doctoral researchers
- Individual coaching for female doctoral researchers
- Further training measures for female veterinarians with a doctorate
Funding is only available to members of the Foundation of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover. Applications must generally be submitted to the Commission for Gender Equality 2-3 months before the funds to be approved are to be utilized.
