Closure of the Parent-Child Rooms
Due to the Corona pandemic, we unfortunately have to close the parent-child rooms both at the Bischofsholer Damm campus and in the TiHo Tower.

"TiHo-Nest" Parent-Child Rooms at the Bischofsholer Damm Campus
Dear TiHo parents!
In the social rooms of the former smithy (behind the Mensa Caballus), two rooms are available for use by all parents at the TiHo.
One of the rooms is set up as a parent-child office. The parent-child office is equipped as a workstation with a computer, printer and telephone and at the same time offers the possibility of childcare. A cot and playpen are provided. Parents can bring their children and use the computer workstation in emergency situations (caregiver is ill, school is closed, kindergarten is closed, etc.) in consultation with the management of the respective university institution. The room is used to bridge short-term childcare bottlenecks.
The second room can be used as a play or rest room as needed. Here, mothers with babies can retreat to breastfeed or the supervised children can play and paint. There is a small kitchenette with refrigerator, 2-plate cooker, microwave, bottle warmer and kettle.
In the colourful room there is a large children's play corner with toys, a resting couch and tables and chairs for big and small.
The baby changing unit is located in the well-equipped sanitary area.
The rooms are generally available to all employees and students. Access is granted with the TiHo card.

Arrival by public transport
From the main station take the underground lines 1 (direction Laatzen/Sarstedt), 2 (direction Rethen) or 8 (direction Messe/Nord) two stops to Aegidientorplatz. Change at Aegidientorplatz and take one of the following lines two stops to Braunschweiger Platz: 4 (direction Roderbruch), 5 (direction Anderten), 6 (direction Messe/Ost) or 11 (direction Zoo). The entrance to the Campus Bischofsholer Damm 15 is at Braunschweiger Platz.
