Promoting talent, honoring personal commitment

The Deutschlandstipendium is a funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), whose goal is to further expand the scholarship culture at German universities. The scholarship holders receive a scholarship of 300 euros per month for twelve months. The first half of this grant is donated by companies, foundations, associations and private sponsors. The second half is co-financed by the German government.

The federal government doubles your donation!

At the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) the Scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding achievements in the course of studies in veterinary medicine or the master's course "Animal Biology and Biomedical Sciences". When awarding the scholarships, the TiHo selection committee also takes into account a high level of social and community commitment, as well as difficult personal or family circumstances.

Especially in the time-consuming and learning-intensive study of veterinary medicine, it is often not easy for students to earn money to support themselves. With the financial support of a scholarship, the budding veterinarians and future scientists can concentrate fully on the courses and internships. The best conditions to develop their talents and gifts.

Volunteering and mastering challenges

Many of the TiHo students are also involved in voluntary work alongside their studies or are actively involved in social issues. Some have also mastered special personal or family challenges on their previous educational path. The Deutschlandstipendium not only honors good performance in their studies, but also recognizes this above-average commitment.

A motivation for the scholarship recipients to continue on the path they have already taken.
