We offer
Regular herd health service (ITB)
We offer regular herd visits for dairy cow farms as part of the Integrated Veterinary Herd Management (ITB) programme. The farm visits are carried out at one, two or four-week intervals, depending on the size of the herd. As a rule, we start by assessing the current state of the herd (e.g. fertility, udder health, cow comfort, feeding/performance). We are happy to work together with your veterinarians and consultants.
In principle, our support covers all key areas of your farm. However, the intensity depends on the individual needs of your farm. If, for example, the fertility in your dairy herd is quite good, while there are increasing problems with udder health, fertility will be continuously monitored, while udder health will be subject to an intensive care programme. Targets are set for all areas and progress towards these targets is monitored.
Problem oriented herd diagnostic and counceling
We carry out herd diagnostics for problems in the following areas:
- Udder health
- Claw of health
- Calf health
- Fertility disorders
- Metabolic diseases
- Infectious diseases
We are happy to work together with your veterinarians and consultants.
In addition to herd visits, we also offer telephone consultations for herd problems and data analyses, such as the evaluation of milk yield data and cell count analyses. Feeding advice including ration calculations is also part of our service.
