The Clinic for cattle in figures

[Translate to English:] Klinik für Rinder Hof

We stable all patients individually in one of our almost 100 individual boxes. These include the following for our patients:

  • 5 spacious deep stalls with a ceiling-mounted crane and thick manure mat for intensive care patients which are recumbent or are severely lame
  • 32 individual boxes for calves (open-air igloos; indoor, temperature-controlled compartments with ventilation options; isolation stalls) for the optimal care of newborns
  • several, spacious and partially covered paddock stalls for patients which are not kept indoors / require more exercise
  • 3 special boxes for breeding bulls
  • boxes for special requirements with:
    • proximity to a claw treatment trolley for shorter distances for lame animals
    • Rubberised floors for increased sure-footedness and reduced risk of injury
    • Possibility of hygienic isolation for prevention of infectious diseases
    • Separate front area (animal/human separation) for the care of nervous/dangerous animals
  • For cows in labour, we have a special room with rubber mats, in which obsetrics can be provided in a clean environment.
