Welcome!
We are the Clinic for Cattle.
We offer our farmers specialised care for cows, calves and bulls with a team of animal keepers, sterilisation staff, administrative staff, students, assistant and senior doctors and professors. Our main tasks include the intensive inpatient care of our patients as well as advice on farm optimisation and working out stock problems.
For veterinarians, we offer telephone support from our experienced senior physicians and professors regarding complicated cases in the field and the possibility of referral and subsequent discussion / elaboration.
We want to familiarise our students with cattle as a species and lay the foundations for future work with this fascinating animal species through a great deal of practical involvement in the care of individual animals and work on and with farms.

Arrival by public transport
From main station take underground line 1 (direction Laatzen/Sarstedt), 2 (direction Rethen) or 8 (direction Messe/Nord) until Aegidientorplatz. At Aedidientorplatz change trains and drive two stations until Braunschweiger Platz: line 4 (direction Roderbruch), 5 (direction Anderten), 6 (direction Messe/Ost), or 11 (direction Zoo). The entrance to the Campus Bischofsholer Damm 15 is located right at Braunschweiger Platz.
Arrival by car
From the Interstate A2 change to Interstate A37/B3 (trade fair expressway) at the motorway junction „Hannover Kirchhorst“ in the direction of the trade fair (Messe). Take the exit „Bult“ and turn right on Bischofsholer Damm. Follow the road to „Freundallee“ and turn right at the traffic lights. Follow the road and turn left into „Willestraße“. At the end of the road, turn right into „Schwesternhausstraße“. The access to the premises of the University of Veterinary Medicine Foundation can be found on the left hand side.
