Spermatological Laboratory

Welcome in the Spermatological Laboratory

We are an accredited laboratory for the bull in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 reference laboratory of the German Cattle Breeders' Association (ADR e.V.). In addition to standard microscopic and biochemical examinations, modern examination methods are available in the form of computerised motility analysis and flow cytometry.

Native and frozen sperm samples can be submitted. Native samples should be available for examination within 4-6 hours of collection. The results are issued with a corresponding evaluation and assessment by a veterinarian.
