Field trips

WING establishes contacts for field trips to poultry farms and at upstream and downstream companies in the value chain for schools, universities and other interest groups. If interested, specific topics from the veterinary context can also be worked on and discussed, live or digitally, with interested parties (expert debates). If you, as a teacher or interested person, have any ideas and wishes, please contact us. The listed points show a selection of possible teaching content:

Lower schools

During field trips, children can work on topics related to agriculture and nutrition. Here, questions about the life of animals and the food produced will be explained. A connection to the subject General Studies is possible.

Lower and middle school and upper school/qualification phase

In principle, it is possible to integrate the project into various subjects or to link it to interrelated topics. In addition to project weeks on topics such as agriculture, nutrition, etc. or even hiking days, topics/questions are interesting as a starting point in Geography as well as Politics, Economics and Social Studies.
