Lecture times and re-registration

If you wish to continue your studies at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, you must pay the applicable semester fee
(€ 392.80) in due time or take a leave of absence. Re-registration takes place by direct debit. You authorise the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover to debit the semester fee from your bank account. Of course, it is also possible to debit another bank account besides your own. You give us the direct debit mandate via Studis (Studis > Interactive area > Self-service function > Student services > Re-registration)

The fee for the winter semester 2024/2025 consists of

    € 130.00 Student Union
    € 75.00 Administration fee *
    € 176.40 Germany semester ticket (Deutschland-Semesterticket) **
    € 9.00 AStA contribution
    € 0.40 Bicycle workshop
    € 2.00 Culture ticket

The re-registration period starts on 20 January 2025 and ends on 19 Feb. 2025.

* Exempt from paying the administrative fee:
- Students on a doctoral programme who receive a publicly funded scholarship (Section 11 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act - NHG)

** Students can be exempted from the Germany semester ticket (Deutschland-Semesterticket) on application and with proof:
- Students and doctoral candidates who spend at least three months abroad during the semester
- Students and doctoral candidates on leave of absence
- Severely disabled students and doctoral candidates
- Students and doctoral candidates who are enrolled at another German university and receive the Deutschland-Semesterticket there
