Many library services are accessible via the TiHo campus network by default. In order to be able to use them from home or on the road as a member of TiHo, you need external access to the library resources. By logging in via our service providers, you will be recognised as an authorised TiHo user in the current browser session by the publishers of licensed electronic resources.
In case of access problems, please send an e-mail to the library (preferably with a screen shot).
EZproxy-Login
This gateway gives you access to a large part of our offers. As a TiHo member, you can access our licensed products.

To log in, please use your IDM number with the corresponding password.
You can then select the desired offer from a list.
Shibboleth-Login
If you want to search for literature via the TiHo's own search engine VetSearch, you can log in right at the beginning and then automatically get access to our resources in the background.
If you are searching for a journal directly through the EZB , you will reach the Shibboleth login for most publishers via a link called Institutional Login or Single Sign-On. You will then get to the TiHo licenses by selecting:
- "DFN-AAI (German Higher Education and Research)" and
- "University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover".
Afterwards you have to enter your IDM number with the corresponding password.
