Blood donation

The blood donation drive is organised by the Equality and Social Affairs Department and takes place once at the start of the semester and once towards the end; it is run in collaboration with the German Red Cross (DRK). All donors receive great goody bags filled with all sorts of comfort food and everything else you might need for your studies. During the Medimeisterschaften countdown, we also always have a few tickets up for grabs!

Canteen tables

The Office for Equality and Social Affairs organises free meals at the canteen for Tiho students. These free meals are held monthly (organised by the GdF) and twice a year (organised by the Studentenwerk, in May/June and October/November). The application process is the same for both, and we’ll let you know by email when you can apply again.

Theatre Flat Rate

With the flat-rate scheme, you can collect a ticket free of charge from the Staatstheater up to 3 days in advance, provided there are still seats available.

To register for the flat-rate scheme, you need to click on the following link: Staatstheater Ticket Service.

This will take you to the discounts page, where you should then click on the ‘TiHo’ button.

When you’re ready to buy a ticket, don’t select the discounted student ticket – instead, choose the free TiHo flat-rate ticket.

If you have any questions, you can always contact the First-Year Students and Culture Department.

Enjoy the theatre!
