ProV (Promovierendenvertretung/ doctoral student representation)
The ProV is an initiative by and for doctoral students/PhD students to represent their interests. It is an organ for all three doctoral programmes at TiHo (PhD, Dr. rer. nat., Dr. med. vet.) and, as such, can be shaped by all of us!

What the ProV offers:
• Informative events and meetings for doctoral students
• Assistance with starting your doctoral studies
• Networking and exchange of experiences between the three doctoral programmes
• Interdisciplinary exchange
Information about meetings and activities is sent out via the official TiHo Docs email distribution list. You can sign up for this distribution list in TiHo StudIS (info.tiho-hannover.de/cgisbin/studis.cgi; bottom right under ‘Settings’).

Heike Lahusen
I am Heike, a veterinarian, working at the Institute of Zoology. I am a PhD student in the PhD program “Veterinary Research and Animal Biology” and am also a representative in the PhD commission of the program. With my work in the ProV I would like to focus on building a strong representation of all promotion's students at the TiHo no matter the program. So, all students or interested students have an easy access/ contact option.

I’m Marie Greiling-Mackert, veterinarian and PhD student at the Hannover Graduate School. As a member of ProV, I aim to ensure that all doctoral students have the best conditions to successfully and positively pursue their degree.
