• 08/2017-07/2020 Residency at the European College of Zoological Medicine (ECZM) in Wildlife Population Health (WPH) at the Institute for Terrestrial and Aquatic Wildlife Research site Büsum, Hannover University of Veterinary Medicine Foundation, graduating as Diplomate, EBVS European Veterinary Specialist in WPH.
• 11/2016 - 12/2022: PhD at the Institute for Terrestrial and Aquatic Wildlife Research, Büsum site, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation. Title of PhD thesis "Antimicrobial resistance in Escherichia coli isolated from marine animal species of the North and Baltic Sea.
• 10/2015 – 09/2016: Veterinary Internship at the Sealcentre Pieterburen, the Netherlands
• 12/2010 – 06/2015: Doctoral dissertation at the Research Centre Borstel, Leibniz-Center for Medicine and Bioscience, division of biophysics and the Institute for Immunology, faculty of veterinary medicine, Freie Universität Berlin. Titel of the dissertation “The evaluation of antimicrobial peptides as anti-cancer agents against equine sarcoid and human prostate adenocarcinoma cells”
