One of the outstanding news is that the TiHo was again able to maintain third place from the previous year in the worldwide comparison for the subject veterinary sciences. In addition, TiHo researchers have developed a scoring system that takes into account all areas of the respiratory tract to assess the severity of covid-19 disease after infection with different variants of SARS-CoV-2. The current episode of the podcast series "Equine Medicine Today" by the Society for Equine Medicine is about "Equine Asthma - when horse cough becomes chronic". Professor Karsten Feige, Head of the TiHo Equine Clinic, and Professor Bernhard Ohnesorge talk to listeners about the latest findings on this common disease.
