The European Vaccines Hub (EVH) is launching a call for internationally recognized experts to join its independent External Advisory Committee (iEAC). This independent advisory body will support the EVH Steering Committee by offering advice on the Hub’s orientation and providing objective scientific, technological, and strategic guidance across the project’s activities, aligned with EVH’s mission to strengthen Europe’s pandemic preparedness capacity.
The advisory board will be composed of a diverse group of experts to ensure that key competencies and expertise in the areas of research, development, regulation, preclinical and clinical trials, as well as the manufacture of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies, are represented in a balanced manner.
We are seeking individuals with internationally recognized expertise and proven experience in pandemic preparedness, vaccine development, or related fields.
From Germany, nine research institutions are participating in the network through the German Center for Infection Research. From TiHo, Professor Dr. Asisa Volz from the Institute of Virology is active in the network. She is co-leader of the preclinical studies division in pillar 2 of EVH.
