- Since 2022: Postdoctoral researcher at ITAW
Focus of Work
- Dissertation: Health monitoring of Common Eiders (Somateria mollissima) from the Western Baltic Sea and potential impact of TNT and other toxic compounds of dumped warfare on their health
- Conflict management in the area of fisheries/shellfish farming with eider ducks and health checks of eider ducks
- Health monitoring of marine mammals
- Development of a monitoring and assessment concept for the pollution load of marine mammals of the North Sea and Baltic Sea for the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD)
Continuing education
- Since 2019: Veterinary specialization in Wild Animals and Species Protection
- Since 2024: Postgradual studies: Ecotoxicology (specialist ecotoxicologist) of the GDCh / SETAC GLB

- 2024: Prize of the Baltic Sea Research Foundation for an outstanding doctoral thesis in the field of research of the fauna and flora of the Baltic Sea
