Social counselling for TiHo students
Since October 2013, the Studentenwerk Hannover has been offering social counselling for students at TiHo. The social counselling centre's office hours are held at the Bischofsholer Damm campus in building 130, opposite the Caballus cafeteria. Every Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., students can take advantage of this free service. All conversations are, of course, treated as strictly confidential.
Help is available for questions relating to student financing (except BAföG), insurance, housing benefit, exemption from radio licence fees or part-time jobs. The Studentenwerk staff are also available to advise on specific problems faced by foreign students or students with children, as well as in conflict situations of any kind.
