Dear Colleagues,

We would be happy to not only answer any questions or concerns you may have about a shared patient, but would also like to provide you with advice and support during diagnostics. We can forward animal carcasses to the Institute of Pathology at TiHo Hannover and, in the case of bird patients, they can also be examined by our specialists. If you are unable to bring a sample, an animal carcass or a data carrier with a CT examination in person, we ask you to do the following:

Use our data protection declaration and the registration form and treatment and examination contract. We need these documents completed and signed in advance by fax, scanned by email or by post in order to be able to store your data for the legally required period. This is the only way we can document the relevant cases, carry out the desired examinations and, of course, enter the billing for the service provided.

Samples and animal carcasses sent must be labeled accordingly and transported in appropriate containers. A computer tomography is ideally sent to our clinic on a CD. Once you have received the forms and the sample/animal carcass/CT we will contact you as quickly as possible and discuss all further steps.

If you have any questions, problems or suggestions, the team at the Department of Small Mammal, Reptile and Avian Medicine and Surgery will be happy to help you.
