We want you to feel that you are in good hands with us - the Clinical Centre for Farm Animals of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation offers you an all-encompassing veterinary treatment, consultation and diagnostic service for the livestock species cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and New World camels as well as enclosure game, both for individual animals and for livestock as part of herd health management. Of course, patient animals from private holdings are also welcome at any time. In order to provide you with the best possible diagnosis and treatment, based on the current state of science, our specialist disciplines work closely together across the boundaries of the individual disciplines on many health and management apects.
Our Large Animal Ambulance is the mobile, veterinary practice of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover Foundation and operates within a radius of about 50km around Hanover. In addition to the above-mentioned animal species, horses are also welcome patients here. A close professional cooperation with the Clinic for Horses is a matter of course. If necessary, the veterinarians at the Large Animal Ambulance will refer you to proven specialists at our university or to other recognized specialists in the immediate vicinity.
The service of our laboratories also exceeds the limits of the pure livestock species. We also offer diagnostic services for horses (Diagnostic Laboratory & Clinical-Endocrinological Laboratory), enclosure game (Diagnostic Laboratory & Clinical-Endocrinological Laboratory) as well as dogs and cats (Clinical-Endocrinological Laboratory).
