Precision mechanic workshop

The precision mechanic workshop has been an integral part of the Institute for over 90 years. During this time, it has a central position as a service provider for teaching, research and development of instruments. The shop is not only part of the Institute but serves as competent contact for the development, construction, manufacture and repair of devices for research and teaching for all higher education institutions of the Veterinary University Foundation. The wide range of tasks creates an excellent working environment for commercial training. The equipment primarily includes conventional machine tools as they should be found in any well-equipped workshop. In addition, it has a cycle-controlled lathe and a cycle-controlled milling machine. The latest addition to our machine list is an SLA printer for additive manufacturing.
