Veronika Pilchová

Veronika Pilchová has completed her study in 2018 at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, Czech Republic as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (MVDr.). Afterwards, she worked on a project “Development and validation of a loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay for rapid detection of Glaeserella (Haemophilus) parasuis” at the Institute of Food Quality and Food Safety, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover.

 

Since November 2019, Veronika is a part of a working group of Prof. von Köckritz-Blickwede as PhD student in the PhD-program “Animal and Zoonotic Infections” of the HGNI. Her research project is entitled “Validation of inactivation procedures of samples derived from infection experiments with respiratory pathogens as SARS-CoV-2 with the aim to study the role of neutrophils extracellular traps during pathogenesis”.
