How to get there?

By train ...

Being one of Germany’s major fair places and a national traffic hub, express trains connect Hannover fairly often to all major german cities. Once in Hannover, you can take either a taxi or the subway/tram (U-Bahn station).

Take tram no. 1 or 2 (direction: Laatzen, Rethen or Messe-Nord) to „Aegidientorplatz“. Change there to the opposite platform and take tram no. 6 (direction Messe-Ost) to „Bünteweg – Tierärztliche Hochschule (TiHo)“. After leaving the tram turn around and cross the street, then you will be in „Bünteweg“. Go straight until you see a big map of the TiHo area at the right side. Enter the area and proceed to the Institut für Pathologie, the yellow building on the right. See also google maps.

From the railway station to the conference venue you will need approx. 30 minutes. At the subway platforms are ticket machines where you can buy a one way ticket for 2,70 Euro (Hannover, Zone 1). For more than two rides per day it is better to buy a day-ticket (5,40 Euro).

By plane ...

Hannover has an international airport which can be reached directly or by connecting flights from all major German and many European airports. Take the local train from the airport’s train station to the city center (Train S5 to “ Hannover“). Get off at  „Hauptbahnhof“. From here to the conference venue please refer to the description „by train“.

By car ...

The conference venue can be reached using one of the two freeways: the A2 or the A7. For details please refer to google maps or use on the map services on the internet.
