Dear Colleagues,

Please click on "General Information" for the latest news: There is a Booklet for you with all the relevant information about details of the congress organization and about things going on in and around Hannover.

Dear Colleagues,

it is time to renew our cordial invitation to participate in the 32nd EAVA Congress that will be held from 25th to 28th of July 2018 in Hannover, Germany. We hope that you have already reserved this period of time!

We have now finalized the budget and timeline, thus we can give you more and updated information which is also available on our website:

  • Abstract submission is extended until March 15th 2018, 12 o'clock noon (German time).

Therefore, we are awaiting your contributions covering all fields of Veterinary Anatomy. For abstract submission please follow the link published on our homepage (Abstracts). Here, you can find detailed information on abstract formats and templates to use.

The abstracts will be printed in our journal “Anatomia, Histologia, Embryologia” in a supplement which will be available at the time of the congress.

Under the header “Registration” you will so far only find basic information. The form and details for bank transfer will follow soon. However, we would like to mention that paying your EAVA membership fees for 2018/19 until March 1st 2018 will entitle you to pay the reduced member fees.

For those who have to apply for scholarships or other external funding, it might be of importance to know the expected time of decisions on abstract acceptance. The organizing committee aims at delivering the decision to the authors between 25th to 29th of April 2018.

Formalin will be “Hot Topic”, which is supported by a keynote lecture and depending on the submission of corresponding abstracts (alternatives, methods, techniques, models etc.); a special session could be devoted to this theme.

Remember, your contribution will add to an excellent scientific meeting. We are looking forward to your submissions and registration. Your participation will give us great pleasure.

With best regards,

Christiane Pfarrer, Hagen Gasse and Ralph Brehm
