Scientific Advisory Board

The members of the HGNI advisory board are internationally recognized scientists in the research field of the HGNI.

The scientific advisory board has the following duties:

• Recommandations on important HGNI personnel decisions.
• Recommendations and opinions on the design of the qualification concept of the HGNI.
• Recommendations and opinions on the scientific and / or structural development of the HGNI.
• Participation in the internal evaluation of the HGNI.

Meetings of the scientific advisory board will be held once a year.

Current members of the newly appointed scientific advisory board are:

• Prof. Rudi Balling, Director of the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB), University of Luxembourg, Esch sur Alzette, Luxembourg

• Prof. Robin Franklin, MRC Centre for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine & Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, UK

• Prof. A.D.M.E. Osterhaus DVM PhD, Head Department of Virology, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

• Prof. Marc Vandevelde, Director of the Department of Clinical Veterinary Medicine, University of Bern, Switzerland
