

Mahdi Amiri studied for his B.Sc. in Animal Biology at the Lorestan University and continued his Master in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Tehran, Iran.
During his Master course, he completed a three-month traineeship at the Department of Human Genetics, University of Göttingen, Germany, supported by the IAESTE program.
Mahdi Amiri is awardee of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) since June 2010. He has joined the Department of Physiological Chemistry to perform his PhD research on “The effect of chemical chaperones on the trafficking and targeting of intestinal disaccharidases”.
